I started WhichPropFirms because I was tired of bouncing between six different prop firm websites trying to compare drawdown rules, payout cadence, and promo prices. Nobody was telling the full story. So I built the comparison table I wished existed when I first started out.
I'm MarkusH. I trade futures full-time across multiple prop firm accounts. Mostly ES and NQ, with some CL when the energies are moving. I've been at this for several years across most of the firms listed on this site. I've passed evals. I've blown evals. I've had payouts pulled because I missed a line in the rule book that wasn't in the marketing copy.
WhichPropFirms is the resource I wish I'd had when I started. One place to compare what these firms actually cost, what their rules really say, and which ones are running deals worth grabbing.
Most prop firm comparison content online is one of two things. SEO sludge written by people who've never placed a trade, or affiliate spam that always recommends whichever firm pays the highest commission. Neither one tells you the truth.
I built this site to be the third option. Built by someone who actually trades these accounts, with the data laid out so you can decide for yourself. The comparison tables, the cost calculator, the glossary, all of it came from me getting burned and writing down what I learned.
Same way every comparison site does. Affiliate commissions. When you use code MHT at checkout, the firm pays me a small cut. That's what keeps this site free.
Here's the part most affiliate sites don't say out loud. I rank firms by what's actually best for the trader, not by who pays the highest commission. Firms that pay me less get listed equally next to firms that pay more. If a firm I'm affiliated with starts pulling shady stuff with payouts, I'll write about it, and tell you to go elsewhere.

Every firm's pricing and rules are checked weekly. If a promo ends, it's pulled within 24 hours.
If a firm hides something important behind a wall of text, I dig it out and put it on the comparison table.
